Tammy Exum Endorsed for House District 19

Hartford, CT – Today, the Connecticut League of Conservation Voters (CTLCV) endorsed Representative Tammy Exum (D) to represent the 19th House District of the CT General Assembly including the towns of Avon and West Hartford. Voters have long relied on CTLCV's endorsements to identify candidates who will champion environmental protection. Tammy Exum has consistently earned a perfect 100% rating on CTLCV’s Environmental Scorecard for her entire tenure at the State Legislature. 
Rep. Exum is dedicated to addressing climate change through policies that protect air quality and environmental health. Her work has consistently tackled threats to both ecological and human health, including the recent ban on PFAS in consumer products and her strong support for the passage of the CT Clean Air Act. She helped to modernize Connecticut’s recycling laws and to establish a ban on plastic bags. Additionally, Rep. Exum co-sponsored House Bill 5004, the comprehensive climate legislation of the past session. 

As a member of the Education Committee and the Higher Education & Employment Advancement Committee, Rep. Exum holds climate education in high regard as a vital tool in protecting the environment.
