Support CTLCV

CTLCV relies on our members and donors to fund our work. Your gift directly helps up keep up the fight for our environment in Connecticut, and there are many ways to give.

Check, Cash, or Credit Card
Direct cash gifts are the most common form of giving and can be unrestricted or designated. Gifts can be designated to CTLCV’s greatest needs, endowment, or a specific program. Cash gifts may be made outright or by pledge. For more information, please contact our Development Director, Connor Yakaitis.

You can use the form above to make a secure credit card contribution.

For information about how we protect your personal details, please see our Privacy Policy.

Matching Gift Options
More than 1,000 corporations, foundations and other organizations will match their employees’ charitable contributions either dollar-for-dollar, or at a ratio of 2-to-1, 3-to-1 or even 4-to-1. See if your company will match your gift. You can double or triple your donation to CTLCV by participating in a matching gift.

If you wish to mail your gift, please send a check made out to CTLCV to:

Connecticut League of Conservation Voters
Development Office
553 Farmington Ave
Hartford, CT 06106

Credit Card Gifts/Pledges by Phone
Call 860-236-5442 during business hours; we will process your gift securely. For security reasons, please do not leave your credit card information on voice mail or include it in an e-mail message. You can also make your gift online 24 hours a day.

Gifts of Stock, Bonds, or Mutual Fund Shares
You can make outright gifts of appreciated securities (stocks, bonds, mutual fund shares) at full fair-market value. To avoid capital gains taxes, you must transfer the ownership of the securities to the CTLCV brokerage account.

Gifts of closely held stock (usually stock in a family-owned business) can be made.

If you are interested in learning more about giving appreciated securities, please follow the instructions on this form. You can also contact our Development Director, Connor Yakaitis.

IRA Transfers
If you are 70 years of age or older, you can make a gift directly from your IRA to CTLCV and it will count toward your minimum required distribution.

Personal Property and Gifts-in-Kind
On a case by case basis, the organization may choose to accept gifts of property such as paintings, estate goods, electronics, vehicles, real estate, or other items that can be sold, with proceeds going toward the work of the organization. CTLCV reserves the right to hire an attorney or other professional to assess items before accepted. Please contact our office at lori.brown@ctlcv.org if you are interested in making this kind of donation.
