The 2018 Democratic and Republican primary elections were held on August 14 and saw a surprisingly strong turnout from the electorate:
Secretary of State Denise Merrill initially predicted a turnout of 20 - 25%, so this strong showing suggests voters are engaged, paying attention, and ready to make their voices heard.
