Hartford, CT – Today, the Connecticut League of Conservation Voters (CTLCV) congratulates Rep. Linda Orange (D-48; Colchester, Lebanon, Mansfield, Windham) on her victory in the 48th State House District. CTLCV endorsed Orange because she has been a staunch advocate for protecting our open spaces. “We at CTLCV made sure voters knew how hard Rep. Orange has worked to protect our parks, farms, trails, and open spaces,” said Lori Brown, CTLCV Executive Director. “She’s been a critical supporter of giving our communities new ways to purchase dedicated open space, and her victory today proves voters want her to keep up the fight. She has always been a forward-thinker, and we look forward to continuing our work with her in the days to come.” Orange was one of 36 candidates CTLCV endorsed in the 2018 elections. Live updates on the election—including an up-to-the-minute count of CTLCV’s victories--can be found on our website. ###
