Hartford, CT – Today, the Connecticut League of Conservation Voters (CTLCV) congratulates Rep. Mary Mushinsky (D-85; Wallingford) on her victory in the 85th State House District. CTLCV endorsed Mushinsky for her decades of leadership on land preservation and energy efficiency.
“Rep. Mushinsky’s victory today shows voters are serious about protecting our parks, trails, and open spaces,” said Lori Brown, CTLCV Executive Director. “CTLCV worked hard to make sure voters knew Rep. Mushinsky’s lifetime record as an environmental champion, and they answered by giving her a decisive victory at the polls. We look forward to continuing to work with Rep. Mushinsky in the next legislative session.”
Mushinsky was one of 36 candidates CTLCV endorsed in the 2018 elections. Live updates on the election—including an up-to-the-minute count of CTLCV’s victories--can be found on our website.
