Hartford, CT – Today, the Connecticut League of Conservation Voters (CTLCV) congratulates Rep. Michael Demicco (D-21; Farmington) on his victory in the 21st State House District. CTLCV endorsed Demicco based on his longtime record as an advocate for clean water, land conservation, and clean energy. “Rep. Demicco has been a strong ally for the environment, and his victory today shows Connecticut voters are paying attention and appreciate his hard work,” said Lori Brown, CTLCV Executive Director. “CTLCV made sure to inform our members that Rep. Demicco is one of our greatest allies on the Environment Committee, where he’s worked hard to ban toxic pesticides and protect our public health. His leadership is essential to advancing environmental priorities, and he is a trusted source for other lawmakers when it comes to clean air, clean water, and clean energy. We look forward to continuing our work with Rep. Demicco to protect our environment and build a brighter future for all of us in Connecticut.” Demicco was one of 36 candidates CTLCV endorsed in the 2018 elections.
